AIANA hosts Asian Heritage Fest on May 18 at Mall of India

The American Indian Alliance of Naperville Area is hosting its first Asian Heritage Fest, a celebration of diverse cultures from across Asia. The event will take place noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Mall of India, 776 Route 59 in Naperville. Admission is free for all attendees.

The Asian Heritage Fest promises a vibrant showcase of music, dance, art, activities, and culinary delights representing the rich tapestry of Asian cultures. Participants can expect to experience the flavors of Chinese, Indian, Filipino, Korean, Indonesian, Japanese, and Malaysian cultures, all in one lively event.

“We are thrilled to invite the community to join us in celebrating the diversity and richness of Asian heritage,” said Madhu Uppal, president of AIANA. “This is a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to come together, enjoy engaging activities for all ages, and savor the sights and sounds of Asia.”

The festival will feature captivating dance presentations from various Asian countries, adding a delightful cultural dimension to the event. Attendees can immerse themselves in the cultures while enjoying free admission and a welcoming atmosphere.
