Science & Arts Academy to host spring admissions visit on May 9

Science & Arts Academy (SAA), an independent school for gifted students in Des Plaines, is hosting an in-person event for prospective parents on Thursday, May 9, starting at 9 a.m. This event is especially designed for parents who may be exploring educational options for their bright child(ren).

Prospective parents will have the opportunity to hear from Director of Enrollment Mindy Hildebrandt and Dr. Ama Thompson, director of Assessment, Curriculum, and Instruction, to learn more about gifted children and how their needs are met within this unique school environment. Guests will hear about SAA’s approach to gifted education, tour the school to see differentiation in action, and engage with current parents and students.
