Inspyr Studios is hosting a cycling class to raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease prevention on the significant date of Wednesday, May 15, at the prime time of 5:30 p.m. This event will take place at 2924 W. Euclid Ave., in Arlington Heights.

Dr. Holly Hunsberger, a cycle coach at Inspyr Studios and an assistant professor at the Chicago Medical School/RFUMS, is happy to help others learn about the disease.

“I’m so excited to bridge my two passions, fitness and science.”

Dr. David Perlmutter and other thought leaders have created Alzheimer's Prevention Day, scheduled for May 15, 2024. This initiative aims to provide information, resources, and interviews with experts to educate people on lifestyle choices that can safeguard their brain health. The focus is on empowering individuals to take control of their brain health through proactive measures.

“My hope is to raise awareness for AD research, inform the community about lifestyle changes that can help prevent or slow dementia, and provide resources for caregivers.”

The class is open to everyone, regardless of their fitness level. Dr. Hunsberger will lead the class and host a question-and-answer session about the disease and its prevention. After the class, Inspyr will provide drinks to all attendees as a token of appreciation.

Managing Partner Amy Winter is excited to help promote this ride.

“I hope that the class helps raise awareness on the disease and its prevention. We all know someone who has suffered or is suffering from this disease, which can have a devastating effect on an individual and their family. We will have drinks after class, and Holly will be here to answer your questions,” said Winter.

All are welcome to stop by for drinks and the information session without having to attend the classes.

If you want to RSVP for the class, call or text (847) 749-4630.
