Fashion students hit the runway with ‘CODe’ Fashion Show May 11

The College of DuPage Fashion Studies program presents its “CODe” Fashion Show at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, May 11, in the street scene inside the Robert J. Miller Homeland Security Education Center on the college’s Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

This year’s show is highly collaborative, featuring the work of COD photography, cosmetology, and graphic design students.

This year’s works also incorporate pieces designed using a 3D body scanner, allowing student designers to tailor garments to student models in a more efficient and sustainable approach to the design process.

Tickets range from $5 to $20. For tickets, go to e.givesmart.com/events/BT7/.

College of DuPage’s Fashion Studies program introduces students to the fundamentals of creative design, merchandising and entrepreneurship. Students learn to apply their knowledge to the retail, wholesale and business facets of the fashion industry.
