Some options in Arlington Heights
If the Chicago Bears don't build on the 326-acre vacant lot in Arlington Heights, I have some money-making ideas on the uses for their property. PROJECT 326 could be used for electric car races, using professional drivers — betting allowed, silent with no exhaust contamination.
These EVs could be built by the local high school clubs as a project, a competitive effort against other schools.
Or maybe a tree-lined picnic, beer garden, polka party area by the lake, concerts by the lake, an ice skating facility in the winter — no guns please.
Or human races on the track, marathons or steeplechase races, betting allowed. Or raise beef cows with a packing house on site, designed to look like an ice cream plant. Or farm it, crops of beans or corn, all done by horse drawn equipment, no carbon footprint.
