Skillful, caring surgeon will be missed
I recently received a letter from Dr. Jasper Petrucci, my orthopedic surgeon from Fox Valley Orthopedics, letting us know that he is moving on to the next phase of his life. Needless to say, I was saddened and disappointed. He is a fantastic surgeon with outstanding skills, knowledge, experience and an exceptional bedside manner.
Over five years ago, I met him and knew right away he would be able to help me. At the time my husband and I had planned a big family trip that summer taking our children and 12 of our 14 grandchildren to Disney World. Our entire family was excited and looking forward to the adventure. When I met with Dr. Petrucci, I was struggling with my leg. After X-rays and an examination, he knew that in order for us to take the trip, he needed to correct my leg and walking stance.
He immediately fit me with a brace. We were able to have a fantastic family vacation with the most amazing memories.
Later that fall, he replaced my knee. The following fall, he replaced my hip. Without his knowledge, skills, kindness and genuine caring ways, that memorable vacation would not have happened.
I know I speak for many people who have been blessed by his expertise, experience, skills and positive outlook. Thank you for everything you have done to make my life better. Enjoy the next phase of your life with your beautiful family. You will be missed.
