Elgin Golden K Kiwanis welcomes everyone to its weekly speaker presentations

Elgin’s Golden K Kiwanis Club invites everyone to attend the weekly meetings to learn about local programs or institutions. There is always time to interact with the speaker after the presentation.

In April, they heard from Kyle Martin, owner of Martin Auto Service in Elgin, and Linda Rock of the Elgin History Museum spoke about Elgin Academy and the City of Elgin. Author Gary Koca talked about the Chicago Cubs and old movie stars books. On April 24, the guest was Elgin Fire Chief Robb Cagann.

In the first week of May, Dan Fox presented about “Letting the Good Times Roll: The Grand Victoria comes to Elgin.”
