Get free comic books Saturday at Des Plaines Public Library

Celebrate Free Comic Book Day on Saturday by picking up some free comics and stickers at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood Ave.

Books will be available between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the third floor. Patrons will be limited to two free books.

Cosplay is encouraged.

Free Comic Book Day is an industry promotion designed to encourage readership. Comic book shops, libraries and other outlets worldwide will give away books, host comic book creators for signings and more.
