Where’s the crime?
While listening to the latest court proceedings in New York, I am trying to understand what the crime is in using various means to influence voters. I still have trouble with the reason for this trial to begin with. “Conspiracy on the part of Trump and others to influence an election.”
Thinking back to 2016, if New York is to prosecute Trump for his actions, then shouldn't the New York District Attorney also bring RICO charges against Martin Sheen and others who ran numerous ads in November and December trying to influence the electors to overturn the 2016 election.
As people keep saying, no one is above the law (unless you are from Hollywood.)
