Cash stolen out of wallet at Rivers Casino
Someone stole $400 out of a patron’s wallet inside Rivers Casino in Des Plaines early Monday, police said.
The theft occurred shortly before 2 a.m. The victim had left his wallet on a chair at a slot machine, according to a news release.
A man walked up, picked up the wallet, took the cash, put the wallet back on the chair and left the casino, police said.
The thief was wearing a green shirt and light-colored pants, police said.
