St. Charles street rehab project gets underway

Work is expected to start the week of April 29 for the City of St. Charles 2024 Street Rehabilitation Program.

Work includes spot repairs of curbs, sidewalks, and utilities. It will primarily consist of pavement grinding and replacement.

A total of nearly 13 miles of roadway is included in this year’s program, making it one of the largest for the city.

Residents on streets scheduled to be resurfaced will received a letter in the mail from the Public Works Department with additional information.

The entire project is expected to be completed by early November 2024
