Cruise nights and summer concert series returns to downtown Lombard for its 25th season

This year’s Lombard’s Cruise Nights and Summer Concert series, brought to you by Tommy's Express Car Wash, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The village of Lombard recently announced this summer’s lineup which kicks off on June 15 in downtown Lombard.

These free and family-friendly summer events featuring classic and custom cars will be held on 10 Saturdays between June 15 and Aug. 24, from 6 to 10 p.m. in the heart of Lombard. The live music performances will take place on South Park Avenue from 6 to 9 p.m.

Families with children are welcome to visit the designated Kids' Corner area, presented by Kelly Stetler Real Estate | Compass and Bloom Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, where children can enjoy fun activities, including face painting, balloon artists, magic shows and more.

The 2024 concert schedule is as follows:

• June 15: Claremont Drive Band (classic rock & roll)

• June 22: StingRays (1950s, '60s, & '70s rock & roll oldies)

• June 29: Reckless (rock, pop, dance & country)

• July 6: No event on Fourth of July weekend

• July 13: Hillbilly Rockstarz (country/rock band)

• July 20: EZFM (Yacht rock tribute band)

• July 27: GOOROOS (Mega powered radio hits from the 1980s to today)

• Aug. 3: Valius (rock, pop, country, R&B, classics)

• Aug. 10: Heartache Tonight (Eagles tribute band)

• Aug. 17: Blooze Brothers (Blues Brothers tribute, with classic rock, • Motown, and party favorites)

• Aug. 24: 7th Heaven (pop/rock band)
