Dismissal of impeachment was unconstitutional

According to the United States Constitution, the House of Representatives “shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.” The Senate “shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments.” The Constitution provides no basis for the Senate to dismiss Articles of Impeachment lawfully adopted by the House. What the Senate did in determining that lawfully adopted charges against Alejandro Mayorkas were not high crimes and misdemeanors was unconstitutional.

It was like a simple majority of a criminal jury determining that charges were lawful without any opportunity for the prosecuting attorney to provide an opinion on the merits of such a decision.

The Democrats not only flatly rejected the merits of the Articles of Impeachment, they rejected all attempts to go into closed session to discuss the merits and future impact of their strictly partisan decision. The Senate basically told half of America to sit down and shut up; we know what is best.

Actually, they told the whole country to sit down and shut up. The ruling elites know more than “We the People.” Think of that when you consider who really is a threat to democracy and our Constitution.

Why did the Democrats act so unconstitutionally? They chose to violate the Constitution rather than let the American people hear the trial as a choice between the lesser of two evils. They knew that they could not defend the actions of the secretary and that the evidence would clearly illustrate what has been going on at the border, but they would still be forced by Democrat mob mentality to vote to acquit.

Which is worse politically for them? Should they hear a trial over lawfully adopted Articles of Impeachment and vote to acquit regardless or simply shut down the charges as being unconstitutional?

Before rejecting my argument, think about how you would have felt if the Republicans had determined, without any discussion, that Articles of Impeachment against President Trump were unconstitutional because the actions did not rise to high crimes and misdemeanors. You can't have it one way for the Democrats and another way for the Republicans.

If the Democrats didn't own the border and related drug crisis before, they certainly do now. They also own the growing hate in our Country.
