Like Europe, U.S. should follow science on gender

The idea that rushing to put gender-dysphoric children on hormones or puberty blockers or performing irreversible surgeries is being debunked all over Western Europe in countries like Spain, Finland, England and Sweden. These countries have analyzed the benefits and dangers of transgender-affirming care and their top public health authorities have stated “the risk-benefit ratio of youth gender transition ranges from unknown to unfavorable.”

Therefore, these countries have banned these transgender programs in their countries.

It is most interesting that these countries that have researched this transgender theory much longer than the United States have basically said that there is no benefit to transgender affirming care and yet the United States pushes this narrative constantly.

The latest blow to the transgender movement is that Dr. Hilary Class, a British pediatrician, has documented in a new study and confirms what we’ve always known that children who have a sudden idea of gender dysphoria are actually suffering from other mental health diagnoses — not true gender dysphoria.

How long before the American Medical Association and the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services open’s it’s eyes to the science and facts that transgender gender-affirming care is not working and that rushing to alter the bodies of kids is the wrong approach. Better to follow the

European approach of “patient waiting” and mental health counseling.

Let’s follow the data and science.
