Daunting demands of DMV
If a senior (in this case 85-plus years) miraculously secures an appointment with the Illinois DMV within a 100 or so mile drive and then successfully arrives at the designated location, then he or she has already apparently fulfilled both the mental and physical aspects of the test before having to do so formally.
Adding two or three remote walk-ins is no solution to a daunting and stressful experience (neither are anywhere close to where I live).
