Wheaton North High School presents ‘Mamma Mia!’ May 2-4

Calling all Super Troupers! Wheaton North High School Performing Arts will present “Mamma Mia!” as their spring musical.

Escape to the beautiful island of Greece as we follow the journey of the bride-to-be Sophie (played by Ellie Durbin) as she seeks out the past love interests of her mother Donna (Vera Tax) to figure out who her father is. Will her father be Sam (David Mann), Bill (Timmy Beck), or Harry (Ben Hanson)?

These three potential fathers are all invited to Sophie’s wedding, you won’t want to miss what happens next. Channel your inner “Dancing Queen” and sing along with the cast as your favorite ABBA songs are performed live on stage. This show is upbeat and fun for the whole family. “Take A Chance On Us,” and come see Wheaton North High School’s production of “Mamma Mia!”

Four performances, directed by Jessi Lim, will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 2; 7 p.m. Friday, May 3; and 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, May 4, in the Wheaton North’s Taylor Auditorium, 701 W. Thomas.

Tickets are $14, $10 for seniors, or $7 for students.
