We need president who respects Constitution

There is a huge difference between voicing an opinion and printing falsehoods. I am disappointed that the Daily Herald printed such a letter. Republican Rep. Mike Turner of Ohio admitted that Republicans are using Russian propaganda/disinformation in their talking points. Bill Koller's April 12 letter to the editor contained many of these.

The intention of the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 is to dismantle the government and turn it into an autocracy. Trump has publicly vowed to be a dictator on Day 1. He would fire federal employees who have expertise and experience and replace them with political hacks by using loyalty tests.

Agencies would be under direct presidential control instead of the autonomy they have now. The balance of power between the three branches of government would no longer exist. Also, he plans to use the Justice Department against his perceived enemies.

There would be negative impacts on policies involving immigration, climate, LGBTQ+ and more. Project 2025 seeks a Christian-Nationalist vision. What about the many cultures and religions that make up this country? Diversity makes us great.

Please read up on Project 2025 to learn the dangerous truth. Then vote to save democracy in November. America needs a president who respects the Constitution and the rule of law. That is Joe Biden.
