Free grocery distribution today in Waukegan
A free popup grocery distribution for 700 households will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep, 3106 Belvidere Road (Route 120) in Waukegan.
Northern Illinois Food Bank staff and local volunteers, including faculty and school staff, will distribute more than 50,000 pounds of food. Products include apples, potatoes, Nature Valley bars, tomato sauce, taco shells, potato soup and plant-based patties.
First come first served. Registration, ID or proof of income is not required.
