Democracy is at a crossroads

To Trump supporters: Please don’t delude yourself. If you think you may have lost patience with democracy, think it over very carefully. We now know who Trump is. Convicted of serious civil crimes, likely committed serious criminal crimes. He was the kingpin in an armed insurrection against our nation.

There is a list of un-American rhetoric and deeds as long as your arm. His intention is to subvert the Constitution, by whatever means, to solidify absolute power. His publicly stated intent is to become an authoritarian leader with complete power, immune to prosecution for any crimes whatsoever. Just be aware of what you will be getting should he be elected.

We are at the crossroads of maintaining our democracy, 248 years and counting, or voluntarily handing it over to a despot. “The Mainstream Media” is not exaggerating. Trump and his regime are the most dangerous threat to our Democracy we have ever known. If you cherish our way of life, do not support Trump. Even if you, your daddy, his daddy and your great granddaddy always vote Republican, this merits a once-in-a-lifetime exception. Urge everyone you know everywhere to do the same. The stakes are too high this time. Your nation needs you. Biden is not a young man, but he is a good man. He knows how to get things done and he has. He is worthy of your vote.

Please don’t delude yourself. Be fully aware what you are voting for in November with no rationalizations or misinformation. He is who he says he is, so take him on his word. He wants your country. You decide if you are going to voluntarily hand it over to him.
