A stadium proposition

Jerry Reinsdorf wants $1 billion to build a new baseball stadium. But, over the past few years, what has Reinsdorf given the loyal fans of the White Sox: a 10¢ team managed by 5¢ managers like Robin “I’ve never managed before” Ventura, Rick “Even the Cubs don’t want me” Renteria, Tony “Rip Van Winkle” LaRussa, and presently Pedro “Who?” Grifol. Let’s not forget the less mentioned clubhouse problems that seemed to haunt the team in 2023. If Grifol was a real manager, he should have taken control of the problem and solved it.

If Reinsdorf gets his $1 billion to build his palace, you can bet hot dogs will be $20, beer at $15 and popcorn at $10. And just think what the ticket prices are going to cost us, all to watch this pathetic team.

Hey Jerry, if you want all that money, give us fans something in return: a real professional baseball team to believe in and a real professional manager to run such a team.

Then there are the Bulls…
