Maple Park names new police chief

Maple Park has a new police chief.

Village President Suzanne Fahnestock appointed Randy Endean on April 2.

Endean retired from the South Elgin Police Department as a deputy chief in 2022. He had worked for the village since 1993.

Endean has a master of arts degree in management and leadership and is a graduate of the School of Police and Staff Command at Northwestern University.

He is a former Elgin Township trustee.
