St. Charles to hold ‘State of the City’ event May 16

Hear about the current progress, challenges, and future initiatives at St. Charles “State of the City” event on Thursday, May 16, at the Royal Fox Country Club, 4405 Royal and Ancient Drive, St. Charles.

This free event is open to the public and offers the opportunity to engage with city council, mayor, and staff.

The event opens at 9 a.m. with light refreshments. The presentation begins at 9:30 a.m.

“This is a new event for the city of St. Charles,” said Mayor Lora Vitek. “Our fiscal year begins May 1, and we are more than a year into our strategic plan, so this gives us a good opportunity to report on what’s happening in the city. We hope to see our residents and business owners there.”
