Schaumburg Township Food Drive April 13-May 11

This spring Schaumburg Township is hoping you’ll shower the food pantry with donations.

Join the township’s food drive starting April 13 and ending with the annual National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on May 11.

There are several ways to donate:

• The township has donation bins throughout the community — a full list is on the township’s website at schaumburgtownship.org.

• You can send a donation via the township’s Amazon wish list at a.co/9YbUnas.

• Financial donations are also welcome through the township’s website at tinyurl.com/yc4bjsfh, via check made to Schaumburg Township Foundation with “Food Pantry” listed in the memo or via cash at the Food Pantry reception desk.

If you’d prefer to donate during the Letter Carriers’ Food Drive on May 11, simply fill a bag with nonperishable food items and place near your mailbox — your letter carrier will pick it up and deliver your donation to the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry.

In 2023, the pantry experienced its highest number of visits in the last 10 years- over 13,000 visits. This was a 35% increase over 2022. Any donation, big or small, can make a difference. Thank you for your support.
