Elmhurst Children’s Theatre to put on ‘Hello, Dolly!’ April 19-21

Elmhurst Children’s Theatre presents the spring musical production of “Hello, Dolly!” running April 19-21 at Blackhawk Middle School in Bensenville.

The Tony-Award winning musical follows the incomparable Dolly Gallagher Levi, matchmaker extraordinaire, and her clients on an adventure through 1890s New York City as they experience the highs and lows of society living!

Based on the Thornton Wilder play, “The Matchmaker,” and with music and lyrics by Jerry Hermann, audiences of all ages will enjoy the musical adventure with classic numbers such as “Put On Your Sunday Clothes,“ “Ribbons Down My Back,” “Before the Parade Passes By,” “Elegance,” and “It Only Takes A Moment.”

The ECT production of “Hello, Dolly!” is directed by Jeremy Nemec (“Lion King Kids,“ ”Descendants“), music directed by Peter Bromann (”Descendants“), and choreographed by Ella Walker.
