St. Charles library hosts cooking demo on Latin and South American cuisine

Chef Susan Maddox will share her passion for cooking with a fun and inspiring cooking demonstration on Tuesday, April 30, at the St. Charles Public Library.

It will be at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s Huntley Community Room 1 S. Sixth Ave. in St. Charles.

“Latin & South American Cuisine” is a culinary exploration that celebrates the vibrant and diverse flavors of the Latin and South American regions. Each country contributes its particular ingredients, cultural influences, and cooking techniques to create a tapestry of delicious cuisine.

Chef Maddox has been a chef for over 25 years, with culinary experience and training from country clubs, corporations, and restaurants. She is also an adjunct faculty member in the culinary arts program at the College of DuPage.
