Public meeting set on Rollins Road project April 17

Visitors can review the preferred alternative resurfacing and sidewalk improvement project on Rollins Road at a public meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. April 17 at the Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center off Hook Drive west of Route 83.

The project, from Fairfield Road to Civic Center Way, will fill sidewalk travel gaps on both sides of Rollins Road and resurface existing pavement.

The meeting will be in an open house format and visitors can attend at any time. Exhibits will be on display and Lake County Division of Transportation team members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.

Meeting materials will be available on the project website within a few days after the meeting and an online feedback form will be posted. Email updates are available.
