Batavia Plain Dirt Gardeners to host annual plant sale May 11

Spring will be in full swing at the Batavia Plain Dirt Gardeners’ annual plant sale on Saturday, May 11.

It will be 9 a.m. to noon in the gym at Bethany Lutheran Ministry Center, 8 S Lincoln St. in Batavia.

Plants are sourced locally from members’ gardens. You’ll find many varieties of sun and shade native plants, perennials, iris, hosta, ferns, shrubs, small trees, grasses, sedges, bulbs, groundcovers, and often annuals and house plants to choose from.

Do you want native flowering sun-loving plants? They will have them. Plants that grow tall or plants that stay small? They will have them too. Come see what selections this year will bring.
