Arlington Heights giving away compost April 20

The Village of Arlington Heights is holding a free compost giveaway, and pickup of preordered $50 compost bins, for residents from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20.

The event takes place at the village’s public works facility, 222 N. Ridge Ave.

The compost is available on a first-come basis and residents should bring their own buckets (not bags). Preordered bins will be available for pick up at the same time.
