Wheeling veterans group pitches in for Lovell Center

A Wheeling veterans group on Wednesday donated 150 personal-sized bags of toiletries to patients at the Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago.

AMVETS Post No. 66 made the donation as part of its “We Care Day Program,” according to a news release.

Veterans with the group frequently help the center and its patients, donating hygiene products, blankets and other items as well as holding events.
