Bluewater Creek is thrilled to be making its Hey Nonny debut on April 12. Bluewater Creek is a dynamic and captivating Americana band, hailing from Lake County. With a sound deeply rooted in traditional folk, country and rock ‘n roll, Bluewater Creek weaves together heartfelt storytelling, rich harmonies, and expert musicianship to create a truly unforgettable experience.

“Formed in 2023, Bluewater Creek consists of a group of seasoned musicians who share a passion for the timeless songs of Americana music. Drawing inspiration from iconic musicians like Lucinda Williams, Grace Potter, Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt, Ray LeMontagne, The Lone Bellow and The Wild Feathers, they have crafted a signature sound that pays homage to the past, while pushing the boundaries of the genre.

There are no leaders in this band. Each member brings their unique talents to the table. Their original and cover songs are a nod to their favorite Americana musicians. Their music evokes a sense of nostalgia while remaining fresh and contemporary. Quite simply, they play music from the bands that you will love too. Heather Moran provides many of the vocals to this multigenre musical experience. Stan Dembowski shines on lead guitar/vocals/songwriting, Mike Ryan absolutely dominates on bass, Pat Ryan brings energy and excitement on drums, Christopher Grant weaves everything beautifully together on guitar and fiddle, and Sam Bassin adds Technicolor and dimension on keys. Together they create a rich tapestry of sounds that blends acoustic and electric instruments with seamless precision.
