Hundreds of families participate in Easter events hosted by two Aurora City Council members

Hundreds of Aurora families enjoyed the Easter weekend hunting for Easter eggs at two parks on Aurora’s east side.

Ward 7 Alderman Brandon Tolliver hosted his inaugural Easter Eggstravaganza at Martin Luther King Park.

Kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt, finding thousands of eggs filled with prizes.

The hunt was followed by free tacos for all and tattoos and face painting for the kids.

Hundreds more families joined Ward 2 Alderwoman Juany Garza at McCarty Park for her annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Before the big egg hunt began, kids were grouped by age category. Families enjoyed photos with the Easter bunny and raffle prizes, including full-size Easter baskets.
