Join Solar Eclipse Party in Dundee Township
The Friends of Dundee Natural Areas and Dundee Township Open Space will host a Solar Eclipse Picnic on Monday, April 8, at Jelke Creek Bird Sanctuary.
Bring your picnic lunch and camping chairs to the Jelke Creek Conservation Area on Boncosky Road in Sleepy Hollow.
The first 25 attendees after 12:30 p.m. get a free pair of solar eclipse glasses. They will provide lemonade and cookies.
This location will have an 80% view of the eclipse around 2 p.m. For information, visit facebook.com/dundeetownship.
