2024 Junior Golfapalooza set for April 20 at Naperbrook Golf Course

Junior golfers and their families are invited to kick off the 2024 golf season at the Junior Golfapalooza on Saturday, April 20, at Naperbrook Golf Course, 22204 Hassert Blvd. in Plainfield.

This educational event is for young golfers, returning or new, ages 5 to 17. Resident registration opens April 1 and nonresident registration opens April 3 at www.golfnaperville.org.

Participants may register for one of the following sessions: 10 to 11 a.m., 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. or 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Participants will receive instruction from PGA golf professionals on full swing, chipping and putting. Junior golfers can improve their golf skills by participating in games, events and win prizes while enjoying complimentary hot dogs and beverages.

“This event is a great opportunity for young golfers who are new to the game or just starting out to receive instruction from our golf professionals on all aspects of the game,” said Director of Golf Kevin Carlson. “It’s a fun way to introduce kids to the game of golf and learn about golf equipment and instruction options.”

One parent or guardian must be present at the event. Participants are asked to bring their own clubs, if possible, as a limited number of clubs will be available for use at the event.
