Shepherd of the Prairie to host ‘Holy Spirit 101’

Who is this Holy Spirit? Or, what is the Holy Spirit? These questions and many others will be explored for understanding the Holy Spirit during the next “101 Saturday Series” on Saturday, April 6, at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church in Huntley.

“We say it every Sunday, I believe in the Holy Spirit,” says Pastor Bill Waxenberg, “as it is an important part of our confession of faith. But, what do we really mean?”

The “Holy Spirit 101” presentation will delve into the many questions regarding the Holy Spirit, including “what does this Holy Spirit do,” “is this Holy Spirit the same as the Spirit of Jesus,” and many more.

It will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 10805 Main St.

It is recommended to register at www.bit.ly/SOTPholy24. Registration closes at midnight on Sunday, March 31.
