Seeds of Learning Academy opens in St. Charles

The Seeds of Learning Academy recently held its ribbon-cutting ceremony in St. Charles.

After a torrential rain the day before, the sun came out just in time. This day fulfilled Misela Villa’s 10-year vision to start her own preschool that included a welcoming, light-filled building with many windows and an outdoors that invited little ones to explore nature and play creatively.

Outside different sections invite the children to play, explore, climb (even a dirt digging area). The preschool is based on the Reggio Emilia approach in which the children are the center of their own learning.

The preschool, owned by Misela Villa and Anthony Marsico, is located at 716 Oak St., a block south of Thompson Middle School in St. Charles. To get more information or to schedule a tour, call (630) 945-3657 or visit www.seedsofearlylearningacademy.com/.
