The value of decency
My wife and I recently watched Daniel Day Lewis’ Academy Award-winning performance in the movie “Lincoln.” The contrast between the current Republican candidate and his iconic predecessor shows how far the party has fallen. Lincoln’s empathy, eloquence, humbleness and honesty are qualities not shared by Mr. Trump. I may not agree with President Biden’s policies, but at least he is a decent human being, which is more than I can say for his opponent. The Republican party should be ashamed for supporting such an unqualified and immoral individual.
