Vines Senior Homes resident turns 100 on St. Patrick’s Day

Wynn Nelson, resident of The Vines Senior Homes in Elgin, turned 100 years old on St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday, March 17.

The Vines, along with her family, hosted a huge party for her! She was surrounded by family, friends, other residents, and lots of Elgin dignitaries.

They enjoyed a performance by Terrys Tunes, and ate lots of delicious sweets.

Nelson received so many gifts and cards, it will keep her busy for a week opening them. Happy birthday Wynn!
