Kathryn Hoth of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago announces retirement after 52 years in residential real estate
Terri Doney, managing broker of the Downers Grove, Glen Ellyn, Hinsdale and La Grange offices of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, is pleased to announce that residential real estate broker Kathryn Hoth has reached a milestone in her career and announced her retirement. She has been in the business for 52 years.

Kathryn specializes in the western suburbs and raised her own family in Downers Grove. She deftly shares her knowledge of the schools, activities, and other benefits of the area with clients. She holds the Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Negotiating Specialist (CNS), Counselor of Real Estate (CRE), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) professional designations and is a Relocation Specialist that also holds the E-Pro Certification. Kathryn is affiliated with the National Association of Realtors, the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors, and the Council of Residential Specialists.
In her free time, Kathryn enjoys textile crafting and is proud that a quilt she made was auctioned at a Realtors Convention in Florida in 2017 where all the proceeds went Ronald McDonald House Charities. She is a member of the Faithful Circle Quilters Guild in Downers Grove and in 2015 participated in the making of an Opportunity Quilt, “Jewels of the Heart,” which was displayed in the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky. Additionally, Kathryn loves to read, paint and spend time with her children and grandchildren.
