Holy Week and Easter worship at Elgin’s Holy Trinity and Zion Lutheran churches

Holy Trinity and Zion Lutheran churches in Elgin are inviting the community to the Holy Week and Easter services.

On Palm Sunday weekend, there will be a 5 p.m. service on Saturday, March 22, at Holy Trinity, 357 Division St., and on Sunday, March 23, join in the 8:30 or 10:45 a.m. worship at Zion Lutheran, 330 Griswold St., and the 9:30 a.m. service at Holy Trinity (which also will be broadcast on WRMN 1410 AM).

On Maundy Thursday March 28, worship will be at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity, and 6:15 p.m. at Zion Lutheran.

The Good Friday Stations of the Cross will be at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity and 7 p.m. at Zion.

Join the Easter Vigil on Saturday, March 30, at 5 p.m. at Holy Trinity.

On Easter Sunday, March 31, there will be 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. worship at Zion, and a 9:30 a.m. service at Holy Trinity (which is also broadcast on WRMN 1410 AM).

All are welcome to worship and receive Holy Communion at either church.
