Klomhaus is free pretrial. A judge ordered her not to drive and to wear an alcohol monitor. Prosecutors had asked that she be detained pretrial.

The head-on crash happened on Route 56 near I-88. Klomhaus was driving a Jeep Wrangler, according to a Sugar Grove Police news release at the time.

The victim, 67-year-old Sergey Ageyev of Naperville, was driving a Subaru Forester west on a long ramp from I-88, exiting onto Route 56. Klomhaus was driving east in the westbound lanes of the ramp.
