Post Office should buy American
I recently noticed that the U.S. Post Office vehicle delivering my mail had no external vehicle markings as to the manufacturer of the vehicle be it Ford, GM etc. I thought it was strange.
Recently, one of the Post Office vehicles was parked in my neighborhood and I looked in the interior of the vehicle for any identification as to the manufacturer. Lo and behold, in the steering wheel hub was the Tristar symbol of Mercedes Benz.
Why would the U.S. Post Office buy a foreign made vehicle? Doesn’t our country make vans that could fulfill the job requirements of the US Post Office?
Did the US Post Office not want the public to know it was a foreign made vehicle?.
