Windy City Bulls win third straight home game

The Windy City Bulls, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, beat the College Park Skyhawks 98-94 Friday night. Windy City was led by Chicago Bulls two-way forward Henri Drell with 23 points and 9 rebounds.

Chicago Bulls two-way forward Adama Sanogo finished with a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds. Chicago Bulls two-way forward Andrew Funk and guards Ryan Arcidiacono and Jalen Harris chipped in 14 points each.‌

The Skyhawks took a 2-point lead at the end of the first quarter despite Sanogo leading all scorers with 10 points. Windy City scored 30 points in the second quarter to take a 3-point lead at halftime.‌

The Bulls took a 77-67 lead at the end of the third quarter after Funk and Drell scored seven points each for Windy City. College Park cut Windy City’s lead to two points with 30 seconds to go, but Drell answered hitting four free throws to seal the 4-point win.‌

College Park was led by guard Jordan Bowden with 28 points on 11-for-22 shooting from the field. Guard Tyson Etienne finished with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.

With the win, Windy City improved to 14-15 in the regular season, College Park fell to 15-15.

Next up, Windy City will head to Washington, D.C., to take on the Capital City Go-Go on March 22. The game is slated to tip-off at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on NBAGLeague.com.
