Naperville municipal band concert to remember leaders

Musicians ages 14 to 90 will take the stage in a special concert on Sunday featuring the Naperville Municipal Band and the Metea Valley Wind Ensemble.

Both groups will perform in “A Salute to Lifelong Membership” at 3 p.m. Sunday. The free concert will be at Metea Valley High School, 1801 N. Eola Road in Aurora.

The Naperville Municipal Band will open its portion of the concert with a brief remembrance of the late Ron Keller, former band director, and the late Ann Lord, former mistress of ceremonies.
