Can’t afford library hike

No to the raise to my to taxes for new library building in Round Lake. I can’t afford it. I have paid the way for my kids, enjoyed story time when my grandkids were younger. It is and always will be the responsibility of the family to make every effort for opportunities. Big ticket items like increased meeting space, new conference rooms and study rooms, more delivery of youth services (babysitting), on and on. State of the art I’m sure, deluxe. More programming, multi languages. Drop kids off, child care whose responsibility? Could the library not work with the park district? Vote no to duplication of services and physical plant.
