Elgin police investigate early morning gunfire reports

Elgin police are investigating a report of gunfire early Thursday morning.

Police were called to the 1100 block of Apple Lane just after 12:30 a.m. for a report of shots fired in the area. Investigators were able to determine gunfire occurred, but no injuries were reported.
