Geneva Tip-A-Cop event to support Special Olympics

Enjoy a special night at FoxFire Restaurant when Geneva police officers take on the role of servers for a good cause in this “Tip-A-Cop” fundraising event.

Officers will be working from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the downtown restaurant, 17 W. State St.

After the evening is complete, a portion of sales and 100% of donations will benefit Special Olympics Illinois. Guests also can participate in a 50/50 drawing that night.

To make a reservation, call FoxFire Restaurant at (630) 232-1369.

The Tip-A-Cop event is one of the fundraising platforms for the Law Enforcement Torch Run, which is a collaborative effort from officers across the nation to raise money for Special Olympics.

The Geneva Police Department appreciates the public’s support for this worthy mission. For more information, contact Sgt. Mark Russo at (630) 232-4736 or via email mrusso@geneva.il.us.
