Batavia Boardwalk Shops open May 10 with 10 small businesses

The 2024 season of the Batavia Boardwalk Shops begins on Friday, May 10. The shops are designed to support small businesses, create additional retail shopping, and to bring people to downtown Batavia to enjoy this unique destination as well as the rest of downtown.

This year’s shops include:

• Bewitching Brews- created out of the owner's love of helping others learn about natural health alternatives. Bewitching Brews will sell Organic Functional Teas, and Herbs to our customers. They will carry items from trending retailers including herbal products from Napiers Edinburgh Herbalists, and fashion from Fable England. Bewitching Brews hopes to bring a unique feeling of walking into an Olde Apothecary Shoppe.

Big Bear — Shades for Shelters donates 20% of the net proceeds from the sale of the vintage sunglasses to animal shelters and dog rescues in the United States. Courtesy of Big Bear Sunglasses

• Big Bear Sunglasses- classically inspired, biodegradable, polarized sunglasses to raise money for animal shelters and dog rescues in the United States, with 20% of net proceeds donated to these organizations. Look cool, help dogs.

• Home & Garden Provisions- creating by a love for finding unique items to decorate the home and for gift giving. The owner carefully curates items for their use and usefulness around the home. Her hope is that you enjoy browsing and find something that sparks joy within you.

• Home Run Hot dogs & Lemonade- a family owned and operated business. Their menu dances between tradition and innovation with a range of options from Classic Chicago style hot dogs, Fresh squeezed lemonade, Loaded Nachos, and Vegan hot dogs!

• Jodi Mac Sweets & Treats offers a delightful array of sweet treats for every palate.
