College of DuPage hosts spring open house on April 6

Learn about all your local community college can offer at College of DuPage’s spring open house from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, in the Physical Education Center (PEC) Arena on the College’s Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Prospective students and their families will discover why COD is the ideal place to start the college journey and get a head start on the enrollment process. The event is free and open to the public. Walk-ins will need to register upon arrival, so pre-registration is encouraged.

More than 60 program representatives from COD’s academic offerings will be on hand to help prospective students create meaningful connections and identify possible career paths.

Student support resources such as Registration Services, Financial Aid, Counseling, Academic Advising and Transfer Services, Career Guidance, Records and Student Life also will be available to offer valuable insight into the enrollment process.

An Admission and Financial Aid presentation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. A Spanish version of the presentation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

“Demystifying the College Classroom” will allow guests to get an inside look at the college classroom experience. Learn what instructors expect of students, and bring your questions about how to succeed in college-level classes from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in PEC 136.
