Batavia investigating gunshots fired Saturday night

Batavia police are investigating a dispute Saturday night in which shots were fired, but nobody was injured.
It happened around 9:44 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Wilson Street, according to a news release.
People called 911 to report gunshots or fireworks. Other callers reported a disturbance in a hallway.
A vehicle left the scene and failed to stop for police. But it was found by Kane County deputies in Montgomery. The driver is being detained as possibly being involved in the gunshot investigation.
Batavia police believe it was a targeted shooting. They ask that anyone with information call the department at (630) 454-2500.
