Forest & Found Thrift Contributes to Food Bank

Having some fun with a giant check, Forest & Found Thrift store in Lake Forest recently donated $25,000 to Northern Illinois Food Bank. Christine Fisher, Brand and Cause Marketing Manager for this region of the food bank, accepted the real check from Diana Durkes, Forest & Found’s manager.

Forest & Found’s contribution of $25,000 will go a long way to providing food for those in need.

“Every $1 donated helps provide $8 at the food bank, which means $25,000 is worth $200,000 in groceries for our Northern Illinois neighbors,” Fisher said. “Currently we are serving on average 560K neighbors every month. That is 18% more than last year and double pre-pandemic. Huge thanks to our F & F community for making this possible.”

Forest & Found is located at 1363 N Western Ave. in Lake Forest. For information, call (847) 482-1705 or visit forestandfound.com.
